This is how I feel
LIFE EXIST FOR THIS MOMENT. Dancing has no intent on getting somewhere. Dancing is feeling the current moment. I need to dance more. Life shouldn't be like this . What should it be like? Still working on expectations and why I am so prone to wants. Eating sorrow, pooping joy. I loved, still love, the … Continue reading This is how I feel
Just Another Day
Well, life is truckin along. I graduated from Va Tech this May. It feels good. I started there in 1989. Many hic-ups, stupidity, poor choices, war, war time injury, motherhood. I met my husband as an undergraduate attending classes after injury. the VA was paying for me to go to school. The school I was … Continue reading Just Another Day
Mother’s Day
Crying on Mother's Day seems like a good thing. It is the place I find myself. A hard year complete. I got to spend a few hours with some of my children and a little bit of time with my mother. Brilliant. I spent time alone too. Pensive. But Dylan, my dog of almost three … Continue reading Mother’s Day

Decision – Go, Appalachian Trail
Last year, I purchased the necessary gear(which turned out to be wrong) and headed out on the trail with my three kids. We had sooo much fun. We had turmoil as well. We ended up only hiking 140 miles before saying goodbye. This year my eldest and I are headed back out. I am excited. I … Continue reading Decision – Go, Appalachian Trail
Day Trip
Sometimes, even when life is good, one needs to get away. Yesterday, I took my two girls and visited an old friend, Assateague Island. On the way there, we went to two Harriet Tubman Museums. The one run by the National Park Service can be skipped, unless you want the junior ranger badge and a patch(there … Continue reading Day Trip
Only one toy
In my experience there is always the best toy of Christmas. This year the winner is: Though it did not surpass Moreko, our living exploring kitten, nor Tenuki (black ferret) and Sage (sable ferret).
